cbretteville Posted March 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted March 22, 2008 Nope, its an M4-2 or M4-P. Its got the red Leitz dot on the body, you can see it between his fingers. The lens looks like a tabbed 50 summicron. And the sound designer has added SLR sounds to his shots..... - Carl

The lens looks like a tabbed 50 summicron. And the sound designer has added SLR sounds to his shots..... - Carl I think you´re right, there seems to be the Leitz Logo between his fingers. For a minute I was wondering if it couldn´t be a M6 classic nonetheless. To my knowledge those bodies, produced before Ernstn Leitz Wetzlar was split of in three companies in 1988 bear the Leitz logo instead the Leica logo.... But I just looke it up in Puts Leica Pocked book. The first one had the Leitz Logo but it was already placed above the lens. So it really can´t be an M6. The sound designer really should get fired.... Yours Olaf
bill Posted March 22, 2008 Share #6 Posted March 22, 2008 Betcha: 1. It'll have a motordrive sound too 2. At some point we'll get a view of the action "through the lens" complete with digital readout, MF SLR-style split microprism and blackout at the point of exposure... Regards, Bill
