stuny Posted March 12, 2008 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2008 Ronald - I agree with Martin and Ben, and add that it could almost be a 1960s advertising photo.
azzo Posted March 12, 2008 Share #5 Posted March 12, 2008 This must be your car with a ' plate ' like that ! A classic image.
Rolo Posted March 12, 2008 Share #6 Posted March 12, 2008 Ronald, lovely picture. Very nice feel about it. You must know that you're sat on a small fortune there. If you're prepared to drive to England every saturday morning ..... These VW's are becoming popular as wedding cars here. I shot this one at a wedding last year. Presume the plate is false... Rona!d Posted March 12, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted March 12, 2008 Rolo, very nice shot! Volkscars are popular over there, never seen so many "Bullis" (the bus) like in Cornwall.
Rolo Posted March 12, 2008 Share #9 Posted March 12, 2008 Rolo, very nice shot! Volkscars are popular over there, never seen so many "Bullis" (the bus) like in Cornwall. Thanks Ronald, nice of you to say. The correct and international name is the 'campavan'. The leaky canvas roof variety are the best, especially if there's a tractor tyre screwed on the front to knock down small walls. Pete's likely to be an ex-spurt on this, as well. Rona!d Posted March 12, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted March 12, 2008 The rarest of the vans are the (original) Sambas, they´re knocking at the 70K Euro door, when in restored A-condition!
mark_goode Posted March 13, 2008 Share #11 Posted March 13, 2008 Ronald, a terrific image. I like your use of the shallow DoF and the Leica logo on the "bug" adds a nice touch.
