Four Generations

Cool shot... I have seen a similar one from you a few years back with the ladies... :) ... also four generations?

Great memory, Robert. Yes, the previous four generation photo was with my father, older sister, her daughter and daughter's daughter. I have another brother who has two daughters--one in college, the other a senior in high school--so you may see more four generation pictures in the future. The way my father is going, maybe even a five generation photo. At 87, he still travels a lot and will spend the month of October in Italy.

Brent,

You have a camera with a self-timer? :)

Stefan,

Suspect Barnack had shots like this in mind when he invented the camera. It certainly works well for the streets of India too, but hardly exclusively.

and if the pope of photography, or nachtwey, or alex webb, or august sander, or anton corbjin, or hcb himself would have showed this one... my opinion would not change. thank you.

It's simply great.

If I look at the two to the left only, that is a remarkeable pair. They look as if they have accomplished everything in life and are very happy and relaxed about it.

I had a chance to do a similar 4-generations shot once of my ex-wifes family. But I blew it and now the 88 year old is no more, the wife is ex as well. Hmm.. doesn't maytter then I guess ;-)
