Alberti Posted February 23, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I ran into this set up for Music for Six Irons. Reminds of the likes of Cage. Scene: the old ABN Amro building, Amsterdam, november 3rd, 2007. Alberti

echorec Posted February 24, 2008 Share #2 Posted February 24, 2008 Nice pictures, especially the first. So, how did they sound?
Alberti Posted February 24, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted February 24, 2008 Nice pictures, especially the first. So, how did they sound? They subsequently got a contact micropone so they were turned into percussion instruments. Clang abang, but each with an own timbre. Fun of course. The first reminds me of a museum, and the spaciousness is indeed what I like. But you need the second one for the context, though, I think! Thanks for the comment. alberti
stuny Posted February 25, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 25, 2008 Alberti - Bless their pointy littl heads, these are fun and well caught. Howedver, I think they need some white rebalancing.
fotografr Posted February 28, 2008 Share #5 Posted February 28, 2008 So, how did they sound? With or without steam?
Alberti Posted March 30, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted March 30, 2008 Thanks for the comments. Color balancing is very hard, as it is not just temperature but also hue. Without professional equipment that is hard to do. The right wall does however get too might place in the picture; should have cropped it. But unfortunately the SD card was almost full, so it was in direct JPG. It would be nice indeed to have seen the steam device in action. Tapping away on the beat... alberti
