Advertisement Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Hi Guest stnami, Take a look here Digital presentation. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sean_reid Posted February 15, 2008 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2008 I just tried it and I think it works well - maybe pull the speed down just a bit. Cheers, Sean
Guest stnami Posted February 15, 2008 Share #3 Posted February 15, 2008 Yea it is way too fast ...I'll see what can be done thanks
johnwolf Posted February 15, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 15, 2008 It works well and looks great. I personally don't like having to time the scroll or move the mouse on and off, especially such a small target. To me, less mouse = better interface. I don't remember the old design, but I like the Autoview scrolling interface better, as in Mark Tucker's galleries. John
sean_reid Posted February 15, 2008 Share #5 Posted February 15, 2008 Yea it is way too fast ...I'll see what can be done thanks Nailing the best speed is tricky. We spent a long time tweaking that on my wedding photography site. Cheers, Sean

tashley Posted February 17, 2008 Share #10 Posted February 17, 2008 New two speed scrolling .............. etrouko Imants Krumins no stnami here If it were me i'd take both speeds down by the current difference between them so the slow became the fast and a new much slooower slow was introduced. Your shots are certainly not, nor do they benefit from feeling like, fast food...
Guest stnami Posted February 18, 2008 Share #11 Posted February 18, 2008 Yea ......................... .no matter how fancy the scrolling is it's all a bit of a lame duck to me

rob_x2004 Posted February 23, 2008 Share #13 Posted February 23, 2008 Back to gallery is a bit too prominent, it suckers you in. Reckon some people who dont know to go searching will miss the scrolling arrows which are a bit hit and miss to find between landscape and portrait formats. Think I would like an auto scroll...slideshow. Thats being critical though. Joe bananas cool.
Bo_Lorentzen Posted February 23, 2008 Share #14 Posted February 23, 2008 Stnami, Very trick technical interface - Two thoughts. Is the "back to gallery" a bit distracting as my eye wanders to it each time it appears. would it be possible to navigate the pictures using arrowkeys on the keyboard, I noticed that the zenfolio slideshows permit arrowkey and find it very intuitive to use... naturally that also somehow requires a way of comunicating this functioin to most visitors. Thank you for sharing - I always enjoy your images. Bo
Guest stnami Posted February 23, 2008 Share #15 Posted February 23, 2008 I guess the next question would be does an image look better with a white border or no border.............. or is it a matter of a non black background i.e. greycard

johnwolf Posted February 24, 2008 Share #17 Posted February 24, 2008 I guess the next question would be does an image look better with a white border or no border.............. or is it a matter of a non black background i.e. greycard Imants, With your generally dark images and black background, the white border appears too stark to me. Maybe try a light or medium gray border. And I know you like black, but a gray background would suit your images. John
Guest stnami Posted February 24, 2008 Share #18 Posted February 24, 2008 I guess grey outer darker grey inner no borders images only optional slideshow works better..........
