Advertisement Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Hi gusossantos, Take a look here My Leica D-Lux 3 with Hood. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
peka69 Posted January 25, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 25, 2008 Hi Gustavo, real cool stuff!! Which old Leitz hood did you use? How did you fix it? Where did you get it? Do you have problems with vignetting at wide-angle? Does the hood still work when zoom out to 112mm? cheers, Peter
cbretteville Posted January 25, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2008 That looks like the XIOOM I have for my 1959 50 Summilux. Cool idea. I'll go home and see how it fits on my LX2.
cbretteville Posted January 25, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 25, 2008 That should be XOOIM, doesn't fit so something has been modified.
gusossantos Posted January 26, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted January 26, 2008 a little more of this....I had to use a lime metal hand very slowly until it came just,Just to have a lot of patience and finesse........Is more protection for the lens that lens hood, and to make it more beautiful, it seems not only lacks an optical viewfinder and a handgrip....... Peter Duminy Posted February 1, 2009 Share #7 Posted February 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Gustavo, What a difference the hood makes! It looks so classy. Perhaps a member of Staff at the factory will see this, and it could be an available option. I think its the wording on the hood that really sets it off. delnerdo Posted February 7, 2009 Share #8 Posted February 7, 2009 Oh come on - the camera is off and the lens is retracted. Do you get any shading with the lens in shooting mode?
earleygallery Posted February 7, 2009 Share #9 Posted February 7, 2009 We've had our differences of opinion on some subjects, but I really love your work, you should post more on the photo forums. Great stuff!
