good portrait. The selective focus gives atmosphere to the shot while allowing the subject to shine through - I like it.

Rather typical of the old top floor apartment stairwells in Paris (Barbara had one when she was studying for her masters). Nicely rendered with its lite, angle, framing and focus, and a very good looking son.

Hi all,

 

Thanks for looking. Yeah, he lives in a very small but very expensive flat in the center (cartier du marais next to th hotel de ville) and those staircases are rather old but the appartements are nice.

Interesting angle and framing which works quite well in this case. I like the eye contact.
