Leslie22 Posted 7 hours ago Share #1  Posted 7 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't get Leica Fotos to connect with my M EV1 , connected a previous Leica cable (C to Lightning) no luck. Went back to the box the EV1 came in and found a cable USB A to USB C ....duh ! that won't connect to my iPhone. Has anyone had a similar issue , I would like to at least try Leica Fotos app

Late version they dont supply data cable anymore… if u still have a phone with lightning port, the previous leica supplied will work, dont forget in setting use the MFI instead of PTP
PhotoCruiser Posted 1 hour ago Share #3  Posted 1 hour ago Yep, do you have problems to connect by WiFi your M EV1 and Leica Fotos? Leica Fotos is mostly used to connect by WiFi to your camera to download fotos and send location data, i never tried to use Fotos with a cable. I use Fotos only when i am outside to quickly check the photos i took and they download by WiFi to my iPhone 15. Zitat dont forget in setting use the MFI instead of PTP If the cable worked then this is probably your problem with a cable connection, same as with a Tablet or Computer. Zitat A Leica MFI connection is a wired, USB-based connection for Apple iOS devices (iPhones and iPads) that enables the use of the Leica FOTOS app to transfer images and perform remote shooting. It requires an MFi-certified cable and setting the camera's USB mode to "Apple MFi". The Leica FOTOS app then automatically activates on the iPhone or iPad when connected, allowing for direct image transfer and camera control. Make sure you use a MFI certified cable and Leica sells a Fotos cable with Lightning plug https://leica-camera.com/en-int/photography/accessories/m/cables/leica-fotos-cable Chris
