Hello everyone.

I have a question about the rangefinder patch and was hoping to get some insight.
Say for example that the focusing point is the vertical edge of a building located at ~100 meters (330 ft) away; using an M11-P and an Elmarit-M 28mm at F/11 or F/16.
When I move the focusing tab all the way to the right, at infinity, the ghost image and the RF patch do not coincide/align perfectly. I need to move the focusing tab just a little bit to the left for the edge of the building to be perfectly clear.
Is this normal, i.e. is it some sort of a tolerance? Or does this indicate an alignment issue with the lens (or the camera)?
Unfortunately, I don't have another lens to test.

100 m is not infinity. Use the moon or a building several miles away.  Lens and aperture are not relevant when using the rangefinder - except that using a 28 mm lens at f16 will have everything in focus from the tips of your toes to the edge of the galaxy.
