Well it serves me right, I shouldn't have bothered but what can anybody do when the story comes out with all the chapters in the wrong order, enjoy your camera. Here you have the guy. https://ksc.nu/english/ Use the link and then you can speak with him yourself. I can’t understand what the fuzz about a camera being serviced in Stockholm or not? It’s just a regular m3 not Mona Lisa. Does that really matter? Sometimes things are a coincidence. I have 5 old Leicas so talking to a service guy is not that strange? I learned about service marks after this thread started. I don’t know about you? But isn’t that watch this forum is all about. Sharing and learning. Now. Give Mr Kosnar a call and talk to him yourself. 😊 Edited Sunday at 07:08 PM by PeLu
Advertisement Posted Sunday at 07:08 PM Posted Sunday at 07:08 PM Hi PeLu, Take a look here First M3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted Sunday at 08:44 PM Share #22 Posted Sunday at 08:44 PM (edited) Isn't simpler to ask Wetzlar who was the first recipient of this M3? Being so fine, looks it has not passed in so many hands... and that "E" smells really a lot about Cordoba... No it doesn't really matter about where it was last serviced, unless there is an emotional involvement in wanting 1 + 1 to equal 2 that gets hard baked into the record. I'm an 'old man' like you repairer I guess, and old men's memories aren't necessarily forgetful but are necessarily selective in that 'oh it's an E' becomes 'oh it's an ε'. This is the historical forum, why it matters is history, so if you bring up a point and it gets debated and qualified one way or another until somebody else contradicts it everybody works on that belief.
