stuny Posted January 11, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 11, 2008 Pete - Oh my! Lovely. Any others of the Lusso?
luigi bertolotti Posted January 11, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 11, 2008 I didn't think of seeing a genuine old Alfa 33... almost a forgotten racing car from a brand I still love (and drive... a 159 Wagon )
elansprint72 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted January 11, 2008 Stu, I barely noticed the Lusso, it was parked alongside my favourite car EVER, the 250 SWB. Luigi, These Alfas all seem to be in the US or the UK; from the registration number this one perhaps arrived here in 1968, i.e. from when it was new. Must have been quite a car to drive on the road! I'm surprised that I've not seen this one before, although it looked like it had never been used- not restored, just "old". Maybe it's just been unused? stuny Posted January 11, 2008 Share #5 Posted January 11, 2008 The 250 SWB is gorgeous, too. Some photos of it?
elansprint72 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted January 11, 2008 The 250 SWB is gorgeous, too. Some photos of it? Stuart, I don't really like to show these beasts caged- here is one on the loose and in its natural environment. Although, on reflection, it looks like I'm in the cage with the beast and Joe Public is on the outside.

stuny Posted January 12, 2008 Share #8 Posted January 12, 2008 Pete - Thank you. As I admire the 250 I'm rolling a red 1/43 die cast model of it across my desktop.
