wolan Posted October 5 Share #1 Â Posted October 5 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi I am buying a used M monochrom typ 246. It comes with only 1 battery. I know that there are problem finding a spare battery. So I was thinking: are there battery packs I can use to recharge the battery when traveling? Or any other solution to quickly recharge the battery? Â Thanks.

Jean-Michel Posted October 5 Share #2  Posted October 5 Go to the Leica store in your city, and order a battery. They will know better than anyone about availability, etc. The battery life is really quite long and will last you for much longer than any normal outing. lct Posted October 5 Share #4  Posted October 5 The order number of the Leica charger is 14494. There is one copy here apparently. Otherwise Nitecore seem to sell a compatible charger. I have no experience with it though. Happy snaps 😊

Nitecore charger works well and runs off of USB power so very flexible - but NOT fast - the Leica charger would be faster
PhotoCruiser Posted October 11 Share #6 Â Posted October 11 I have the NiteCore USB charger for my BP-SCL4/6 batteries and it works well. Not the fastest but should work off a power bank, if you want to be sure i would need to make a test, let me know if so. Chris
fotomas Posted October 11 Share #7  Posted October 11 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Leica charger also has a 12 v input and I used it often to charge the batteries while driving with the car from the cigarette lighter. Due to lack of adaptors I haven't tried it with a power bank yet.
