Recharging BP-SCL2 batteries?

Hi

I am buying a used M monochrom typ 246. It comes with only 1 battery. I know that there are problem finding a spare battery.

So I was thinking: are there battery packs I can use to recharge the battery when traveling? Or any other solution to quickly recharge the battery?

Go to the Leica store in your city, and order a battery. They will know better than anyone about availability, etc.

The battery life is really quite long and will last you for much longer than any normal outing.

As posted in another forum, Leica Geneva confirmed me that new batteries will come on the market in spring next year

The order number of the Leica charger is 14494. There is one copy here apparently. Otherwise Nitecore seem to sell a compatible charger. I have no experience with it though. Happy snaps 😊
