Since the move to the new server hardware last week, and I accept that this problem 'might not' be associated with that, some threads that I have posted in are not appearing in my 'Content I Follow' Activity Stream, which I use to access the forum.

I have a shortcut to 'Content I Follow' so I see all the latest postings to threads I follow etc and then manually click through other subforums and threads of interest.  I started the new (October's) Barnack's Monthly thread earlier today and found that I needed to manually navigate to the thread to view new postings - not a hardship but if I don't see the thread in my Activity Stream then I presume that there have been no new postings to the thread and won't look.

While trying to work out if it was something I was doing differently or had unintentionally affected, I clicked on the 'Expanded View' button and the link to the Barnack's Monthly thread that should have been included suddenly appeared.  Changing back to (my usual) Compressed View caused the thread to disappear again.  On looking deeper I found that the same is happening to some other threads in the Compressed View that I hadn't noticed.

Any thoughts ... ?

Pete.

I have experienced similar behaviour from time to time (i.e. when I've noticed) before the server changeover. In my case it's a New Content activity stream with a selected list of subforums, not threads. Threads that I know I should be seeing sometimes don't appear - but usually do eventually.

It might be worthwhile checking the Expanded View by clicking the button towards the top right of the screen.  (I don't know whether this is available when the forum is viewed through a tablet or mobile.)
