Hola. Gracias.

I wonder how many of us can read and understand spanish, me not. Nowadays translating is a question of seconds, but anyhow _ for those like me here is the english (google) translation

"Hello. Here's my Leica IIIc or IIIf Betriebsk. No. 397696, but the seller told me it's the (079). I don't
know which one it is, and I don't want to take it apart to check the inside. He gave me a Leica document that I can't decipher or translate. Can anyone help me? Thanks."

in mid 60-ties, when Leica stopped production of screwmount Leicas the former Betriebskameras have been revised and equipped with the new, regular top cover. As serial numer the previously unused numbers 397xxx were assigned and cameras have been sold, presumably within the employees. 079 means pretty sure that it was Betriebskamera 079, some indication may be found inside the camera. My former Bkamera was 064, has as well sharkskin covering

Thanks, Jerzy. I write everything first in Spanish, and then I translate it using Google to English to edit it in that language, following the forum rules. I don't know why it appears in Spanish for everyone.
I've sent photos of the Leica document to see if anyone can read it and vouch for it. If there's no response, I'll have to see the inside of the camera.

As Jerzy wrote the reading inidcates that these cameras were equipped with a new top cover (sharkskin, synchronized too) and offered as Betriebskamera to employies, dated 5th of Nov 1965 (pretty late)

My former Bkamera was 064,

correction - my Betriebskamera was previously 063. Insode the camera this number is scratched on the place where it was scribed after aplying synchronisation. I do not remember if there was any number where the arrow points, it is the regular place where camera number was engraved. On the cameras that were synchronised later (as our cameras) the engraved number is covered by the flash contacts and it was practice at Leica that camera number was scribed later as it may be seen. The second occurance of 063 is backside of the cover.
There is as well Betr.-K engraved on camera frame. And for the "freaks" - starting with IIIc, serial aprox 410xxx each camera frame received its own, sequencial number. Number on my camera is 45572 and this allows to assign the date when this Betriebskamera was made - it was when IIIc with serial aaprox 460xxx was produced. This is is line with sharkskin covering. Your camera is is probably close to mine, and although is does not have selft timer it originates from the same period as mine.

Excellent information, Jerzy. Yes, indeed, the photo of 079 written in pencil on the inside of the base cover is from my camera. It's like new, and I don't want to open it to check the engravings inside. You've provided a wealth of information, which I greatly appreciate. I seem to remember I have other Leicas with the serial number written in pencil in the same place. I'll look for them.
