Photos from the dress rehearsal of Unfolding, a new musical written by, and starring, a local composer/writer and singer, Emma Vieceli. A romcom with a few vibes of Mamma Mia, but with a novel story line, great music and excellent dance routines. Such new works need luck to get to bigger places, and it may sink without trace, but this one deserves wider notice (JMO!)
The plot hinges on two pen pals since their teens, American and English, and what happens when, 25 years later, the letters from one side just stop.
All taken with the SL2-S and 24-90SL and 90-280SL

And (of course) they all lived happily ever after.
To avoid confusion, the two pen pals, the two leads, are the woman fourth from the left (Emma Vieceli) and the man extreme left. The couple in the middle are a subplot.

There's an album of tracks from the show, performed by cast members, on Spotify - search for Emma Vieceli or the album 'Unfolding'. (I have no commercial interest in the show or the songs - I've just followed its development with a camera since a workshop back in January)

Another superb set which the cast and writer/actor must all love.  which one is the playwright?

Thank you!
She is the woman on the left in the sixth shot, and fourth from the left in the last shot.

Very nice work, Paul. Theatrical photography was a sub-specialty of mine before I retired (350+ productions over 15 years) so I am keenly aware of the challenges. You handle them quite well.

Thanks, Brent. It is something I have taken up after retiring!
