Just back from 3 days working in Cairns, far north Queensland, Australia. When free for some "Me" time, I am out and about with the Q3 28mm snapping away. No street photos as the streets didn't appeal to me and the local Aboriginal people aren't very accepting of having their photos taken. Here are a few random shots. I will post more.  I was warned by the locals, DO NOT ENTER the water at all, due the Salt Water Crocodiles. Local kids fishing even warned me never to go near the water.

The salties are to be respected.  I have some interesting stories of them from the Kimberly and Queensland.

I was tempted to take a jetski out to the mangroves to see a few but it was getting too late.

Would it be ok to add a few pictures to this thread?

I visited Cairns a couple of times to go snorkelling at the reef. Never encountered any crocs, even when deliberately looking for them in the mangroves.

If you go to Kakadu, you can get close to big salties in just large enough tourist boats

The city is built around this bay which is a dream for birders at low tide. With my 24mm lens, I only took pictures of pelicans.

Did you use Daylight or Automatic white balance? Boats have very different whites.

I always shoot in Raw and fixed white balance, never automatic :)

I tend to do the same. Both shots have the same colour temp of 6000K. The light changed, not the settings.

I was puzzled by the green cast in the last image,
For play ... :) I sequenced photos 30, 48, and 50 with a new white/gray balance.
