I currently live in Portugal. Any recommendations will be extremely appreciated. Cheers, Wilfredo+
Advertisement Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here Photo Gear Insurance in the E.U.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pedaes Posted September 15 Share #2 Posted September 15 It is probably country specific. In the UK I found it best value to find Home Insurance cover (if you have any) that will allow you to list expensive named items - cameras/lenses and watches specifically- over the standard 'valuables'. "Photographic' policies are expensive/not good value and included a load of indemnities either not needed or covered already. Ironically one heavily advertised and expensive specialist policy belongs to the same group as our house insurer, and probably aimed at 'professional' wedding photographers etc. FWIW. Pyrogallol Posted September 16 Share #3 Posted September 16 My home insurance (UK) covers all my photo collection, including taking several thousand pounds worth outside the house.
