antonioxrosa Posted September 12 Share #1 Posted September 12 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I want to buy a Oberwerth leather camera bag of Leica M camera plus 2 lens ( 50mm + 28mm) or (50mm + 35mm). I am hesitating between the Q Bag and the Little Henry. More or less same size different finish. Any opinion ? Thanks
Advertisement Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Hi antonioxrosa, Take a look here Which Oberwerth bag for Leica M-A or M11?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Eoin Posted September 12 Share #2 Posted September 12 Oberwerth have just released a new signature range and I quite like their M version but not the price €1200+. They seem to have redesigned the flap that it now covers the opening much more than previous designs. Personally, I use their M bag (Edward) and M11 bag (Louis) depending on what I’m shooting with. The M11 bag (not Visoflex version) is perfect for a single body and 2 lenses, but the M bag is more versatile for a couple of bodies and 3 or 4 lenses and an iPad. The Q bag IMO, is perhaps just a fraction too small. I prefer to have a little spare space in the bag for extras that I might need or pick up when I’m out and about. Beautiful bags, some in real high quality leathers. Absolutely not weather proof so consider your use case.
IkarusJohn Posted September 13 Share #3 Posted September 13 I have their ReLon version for my X2D. Only finished in leather, but very well thought out.
GFW2-SCUSA Posted September 14 Share #4 Posted September 14 I use an Oberwerth Sally & Harry in which I can fit my M10 R with a 35 or 50 mounted and a couple of other lenses as well. There is a but more room for other small things, my Visoflex for example. I also managed to have my Leica CL without a lens lying on top. The front pocket had a small amount of things in them. This was for a plane trip and I could stuff it all under the seat. This may be larger than you are looking for, but I find it a very useful size. I should add the the two other lens were stacked.
