Advertisement Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Hi LUF Admin, Take a look here Three new Sigma lenses: 35mm f/1.2 / 135mm f/1.4 / 20β200mm f/3.5β6.3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Archiver Posted September 9 Share #2 Β Posted September 9 Sigma are absolutely killing it with lenses these days. That 20-200mm would be all the lens many people need, along with a fast prime for low light situations. Imagine this with a Panasonic S5 or similar compact full frame camera for travel, or a Leica SL variant if you're feeling indulgent. Assuming the image quality and autofocus are good, I could quite easily use it for outdoor sports reportage, along with a long tele zoom on a second body. The new 35/1.2 is about the same weight as the APO Summicron 35 SL, and less than the Sigma 24-70mm v2. So if a person can carry the 24-70, they can carry the new 35. I'm not the target market for the 135mm f1.4, but it's very likely a stellar lens, if it's in line with Sigma's other long primes like the 85/1.4 and 105/1.4.
