PeLu Posted September 7 Share #1 Posted September 7 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Once’s I had a Richo GR with a, for what I can remember, 21mm lens. It was rather fun. I also just bought a 35mm 8-e in nice condition and I must confess it’s as fun to shot with as my much sharper 35 FLE. Hence I couldn’t resist bidding on a Super Angulon from the early sixties. I must confess I was extra tempted by the fact that the original box was included. But. What viewfinder should I look for? I would like the ”correct” one from early sixties. Reference number would be really appreciated. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! PeLu Posted September 7 Author Share #3 Posted September 7 Just found the hood and the viewfinder. It almost ad up to the price of the lens itself…530 euro . 😊 hopefully that means I did buy the lens at a reasonable price. 😅
lct Posted September 7 Share #4 Posted September 7 530 EUR for the lens + the box is a good deal if the lens is in good shape.
blackdot Posted September 7 Share #5 Posted September 7 Any of the Leica 21mm finders will work well. The plastic version will be cheaper and looks nice to me, and the latest version will also have "M8" framelines, which are 28mm, so it's two in one. Seems that you are keen in getting the finder that used to come with the lens I had them back in the late 60s, sort of wish that I hadn't traded them away a few years later. Enjoy! I found it at a small local auction. Wasn’t to many people interested in it so I hope, and think, the 760 euros was a fair deal. Looking on the web pricing seams to be all over the place. Not many have the bow though which I find a plus even if I bought it for using.
lct Posted September 8 Share #8 Posted September 8 Got a mint copy for 780 EUR with hood and lens caps in 2016. The lens suffered from "italian flag" on digital M cameras then, which could explain the reasonable price i guess.
