If I have a close focus lens on for the day, or my 90mm APO I leave the Visoflex 2 on my M11-D almost all the time.   My M11-D gets excellent battery life in the base case without an LCD.   I don't notice a lot of extra consumption with the Visoflex 2.  If I'm out for the afternoon and take a hundred snaps I consume 10%-15% of my battery.  My sleep mode is at 10 minutes and I just leave my camera turned on for a few hours straight.

No problem when you set the "Display standby" to 30 seconds. And EVF/LCD to extended.

On top of that in the overview menu you can switch "off" the LV then the Visoflex will not work. This is very convenient.

Conclusion: Very valuable tool. No probplem with battery when settings are accordingly.

I always carry a spare battery, I've yet to use it!.

I would usually need two, possibly three batteries for a day's shooting with M10 & Visoflex020.

That is true anyway.

Without ever doing something with the camera it will consume roughly 15% (percent points) of the battery per hour when not fully switched off (a fully charged battery is then down after 6 hours without taking any picture).

I use it with the 50 and 75 Nocti and get very good battery life. For a long time I have not wanted it, but the upon the arrival of the 75 Nocti I gave it a try, I’m very impressed with the performance and handling. I should have bought it earlier…

Many thanks to all of you for confirming the gentleness of the battery consumption of the VisoFlex2.

Received it and loved every bit of it with the 75mm 'Cron APO.

Focusing is now nailed perfectly.
