There are a couple of Elmar's mentioned in Collectiblend, so I suppose it is not an impossibility.

Elmar was the lens mostly sold with the iiig 3cr, then a 3.5cm summaron and a 20cm lens. Concur, cron not impossible. Question is whether there has been any sighting

Never seen one... and all the authors do report that the "swedish 3 crowns" lens set was made by Summaron 35 2,8 Elmar 50 2,8 Elmar 90 4 (all in screw mount - the Swedish set was based on 125 Leica IIIG - black body) and also a Telyt 200 for Visoflex (don't know if Visoflex boxes with 3 crowns do exist)

Summicron 50 in SM is indeed contemporary to the Swedish order ... but being generally unreported in a 3 crown variant, I tend to be suspicious... is not a complicated logo to reproduce and the mount of the collapsible Summicron has the right space...

btw : the lens for sale is collapsible or rigid ? Is the s/n declared ?

Lens serial = 1092434 (apparently 1953), collapsible

Scale in meters, I suppose...uhm... someway "too old" for the 3 crown series (the bodies date to 59-60, and I saw a pair of 3 crown lenses in the 16xxxxx-17xxxxx) but anyone knows that you cannot rely completely on the s/n of lenses...
