Thomas Schlacher Posted June 18 Share #1 Posted June 18 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello fellow users, I have recently purchased a Q3 (upgrade from my 2016 Q1) and there is something I really struggle with. The images have a strong blue colour/hue to it, especially in low light and around sunrise (which I love to photograph) - see attached image which I took this morning. I have played around with the white balance options, but it only makes a small difference: blue remains. I can 'fix' it in Lightroom, but that is tedious and I would prefer a solution more straight out of the camera. Apologies if all that sounds very amateurish, but would appreciate some pointers/help. Many thanks, Thomas Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! jaapv Posted June 18 Share #2 Posted June 18 WB set to Tungsten, either in the camera or in the raw developer. If that is not the case, reset the camera to factory settings.
Stephen_C Posted June 18 Share #3 Posted June 18 Alternatively, revel in what's often known as "the blue hour” and make the most of it. I love the light at that time of day. Stephen
Alexander108 Posted June 21 Share #4 Posted June 21 What are your actual settings? What WB setting? What data format? RAW or JPG? I only use RAW and keep WB to auto on my Q3. No Problem whatsoever. There are a few occasions when I need to adjust WB in LR but very rarely.
