Ttkkin Posted May 17 Share #1 Posted May 17 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently got a Leica summicron 50mm f2 v5 I pair it with my Epsom rd1s, the lens when shooting on F2 it always miss focus closer, also I find out when I turn the focusing ring I could go past 0.7 is it normal? ,do anyone know what the problem with this or have the similar problem as I do Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

lct Posted May 17 Share #2 Posted May 17 Going past 0.7m is not unusual and Summicron 50/2 v4 and v5 work fine with R-D1 and R-D1s. Here 50/2 v4. I suspect the rangefinder of your R-D1s needs some calibration. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
