Helo every one. I am currently setting up my recently acquired used SL3. When I go to Leica looks in the Leica Fotos App I only get the choice to install Leica Standard. The other looks do not show up. I installed Leica Looks on my SL3-S and Q3 43 without any problem. Does anyone have a clue as to why the looks does not show up when I try to install them on the SL3?

I use Fotos with my D-Lux 8 and Lux with my iPhone. Unfortunately, on the D-Lux 8 there are a limited set of looks, where on the Lux app on the iPhone, there are many Leica Looks.

I hope you can resolve your issue. I found on the Lux that my camera settings can limit me to just Standard and B&W, unless I change some settings, which of course I did.

I would not attach too much importance to the so-called Leica Looks. They are just a marketing name for a number of presets which are only applied to JPGs although C1seems to be able to simulate them for DNG. I looked at them and decided that I prefer the Jaap Looks by far. If you have an SL3 the files have so much potential to enable you avoid precooked settings.

Did not find these in the menu either.  Something is seriously wrong with Leica firmware these days.

I agree that Leica look is just a mere gimmick. But that doesn’t mean the firmware upgrade should introduce the bug of making them disappear

I did not post this topic to read people claiming that they don't like / use Leica looks. I am looking for some advise on how to download them to my SL3.... Come on! Can't you understand that we all have different needs / likes???

That's literally what I said. I don;t like Leica looks, and never use them.

But not having them on the FOTO app is wrong, and it's a bug. Not sure why you can't download them.

Yes Leica Fotos 5.2. What's weird is that the looks showed up and I was able to load them to my Q3 43 and SL3-S.

Does it say SL3 in the list like this?

That only says that it does not work on M cameras and older Q or SL

I don't understand your comment at all. Of course it doesn't work for older Q or SL.

He was asking why it works for SL3-S but not for SL3. I am asking if SL3 shows up in the list.
