But in the same menu, camera settings, on screen 4, I took a shot at power saving mode > camera standby. In all 4 of my saved profiles, I had selected 2 minutes. I tried changing the setting to off, and saved the profile. I cycled the power, and the user mode reappeared. Success! Next, I did the same for the other 3 of my profiles, and again, success. I’m wondering if others can reproduce this - what I’m tentatively calling a bug. I have only tried the off setting, and none of the other times, including trying 2 minutes again. Are you saying, changing the camera standby to off fixes the issues? Can you now stick with 5GHz wifi? I might give it a shot, otherwise im actually oke with no profile as the way i shoot is most simple way.. manuals 😆 but sometimes i might need that 5Ghz, most of the time not.. cable it is

smuseby Posted April 23 Author Share #22 Posted April 23 After 'fixing' the problem by setting the camera standby mode to off, today I set it back to 2 min, and the profiles continue to be sticky. I suspect the problem was a noisy profile that had this particular defect, and that it propagated to the other profiles as I copied the first one and edited for the others. What I stumbled on was the fix which was to alter the standby power setting. Thanks to all of you for helping me work toward fixing this issue.
