lazyhusky Posted April 11 Share #1  Posted April 11 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was fortunate to be given a chance to document a slightly controversial topic in Taiwan - Betel nut beauties. Photos shared here are shot with my Leica but there were also some work done on 4x5 largeformat. More pictures on my site and some write up if interested. Film used is a mix of CineStill 400D and 800T. Lenses are Elmarit 24mm and Summilux 50mm pre-asph. Welcome, dear visitor! 'Betel nut beauty' refers to the ladies peddling the nuts. They used to wear more seductive clothing but there are now regulations in place to limit such activities. I do have a couple photos of a patron with the dark/rotten teeth but thought it doesn't fit this series. Might include them in the future when I get to document more.
