adan Posted April 2 Share #4  Posted April 2 I'll bite (although this cat doesn't - as sweet as can be). Just made last night. M10 at f/2.0, ISO ~5000. Tut (for Tutankhamun - eye-liner and all that). Usually quite camera-shy, but I prefocused the 1969 50mm Summicron v.III to 0.7m, and then quick-like-a-bunny leaned in until the RF images merged on the eyes - "click." Welcome, dear visitor! Out of interest, evikne, did your cat take quite natuarlly to walking with the harness? Did you introduce the idea when he/she was a youngster? It would be lovely to take ours out in such a fashion but, alas, instead of going for 'Walkies' we would be utterly failing to go on 'Draggies'... I know that a few breeds are comfortable with taking the lead so might your cat belong to one of them? Philip.

We are not allowed to let cats out freely here in the neighborhood, so the only option is to take them for a walk on a leash. Both this cat and our previous cat have been in harnesses since they were small, and both have accepted it quite well. But it will never be quite like walking a dog. For example, he can suddenly run up into a tree. Dogs rarely do that. 😄

espelt Posted April 9 Share #20  Posted April 9 vor 19 Stunden schrieb Robert Blanko: What would you even do without cat? 😉 Oh, a lot of things come to mind... I could sleep in all weekend without being woken up by a hungry predator. I could just drive somewhere on the weekend. Without having to ask the neighbor with a bottle of wine to fill the food bowl. We could go on vacation whenever we wanted and go out for a fancy meal or get a better hotel. Cat boarding is getting more and more expensive, and you have to book at least four months in advance. We wouldn't have to be home on time for his pills every evening. Our senior cat needs his thyroid medication... I wouldn't have to bury mice in the garden. Or catch them in the house myself. Because he brought them home and let them run around the house as a gift. I could buy an M11. With a new Summicron. For almost 17 years, the little guy has eaten every day for €3. Plus the vet... But what can you do... Where love falls. Welcome, dear visitor!
