dante Posted March 29 Share #1 Posted March 29 Advertisement (gone after registration) Being left-eyed, I am having some issues with my nose operating the M11 controls while looking through the optical VF (this has been an issue for Sonys with touchscreens as well). I thought I had read on the interwebs that there was a way to turn off touchscreen functionality (via a post-launch firmware update), but I am not seeing it in a menu or in the latest version of the guide Leica posted. If this touchscreen-off functionality is a myth, what kind of screen protector could inhibit the functionality? On Sonys with touchscreens, I have been able to flip the screen inward - obviously not an option for the M11. Thanks! D
Advertisement Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Hi dante, Take a look here M11 touchscreen - can this be turned off (or defeated)?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted March 29 Share #2 Posted March 29 2 ways: • Main menu page 3, Customize Control > Touch Mode > Off • Main menu page 3, Customize Control > Touch Mode > Off (LV mode)
dante Posted March 29 Author Share #3 Posted March 29 Thanks! I somehow missed this the first few times I went through the menus. I think I skipped it because almost all of the controls had to do with buttons and wheels. D
