What an exceptional series and a great documentary on this very special event! I can only assume how much of a rollercoaster ride this time must have been for you and your family! Thank you for sharing these emotions with us here!

Exceptional photography under the most trying circumstances. I'm glad this has a happy ending and hope to see more photos as he grows up.

A few decades ago I had an assignment to photograph the smallest premie ever to survive. Her name was Carmen Hoxie and as far as I know she's still alive and well.

A fabulous set, individually and as a group.  Be sure to tell us about (and show us) how Leo is doing now the he's nearly 8.

Thank you all for the very kind and encouraging replies. Here is Leo from a few months ago. He is doing very well, though I believe he may have caught the Leica "illness" like his dad 🙂

Good to see him thriving! My grandchildren often grab my Q3 43 - it's one of the reasons I like using a wrist strap on it - it's easier to persuade a kid to slip their hand through the loop, rather than a neck strap, which just makes the camera swing near the ground.

What a great story! Very well documented and, the most important thing, Leo is alive and kicking!!!!!

P.S.: start to save money for his first Leica M!!
