Advertisement Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Hi helged, Take a look here Sigma 35mm f1.2, version II. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
01maciel Posted March 2 Share #2 Posted March 2 Interesting. Lighter in terms of weight is urgently needed. Together with the S1R, nobody wants to carry it for long. So it stays in the shelf. The current 35mm/1.2 is already extraordinarily powerful, good, sharp, etc. I know my imagination is limited, but I can't imagine what could be improved. Except perhaps a few metering values, the effects of which nobody sees in the photos.

CptSlevin Posted March 2 Share #4 Posted March 2 Sigma is a milestone ahead of Leica when 50mm 1.2 released. If 35mm will be on the same level - instant buy
carlosgavina Posted March 13 Share #5 Posted March 13 Looking forward to it! I’ve been impressed with their lenses and own a few. The days when Sigma was seen as a cheap, lower-quality alternative are long gone! I hope they keep pushing forward, they bring enormous value to L-Mount. Tpau17 Posted March 16 Share #6 Posted March 16 That's interesting news. I have the Gen1 of the 35/1.2 on my Leica. The image results are really impressive - sharpness and color brilliance at the highest level. The only disadvantage is the weight of the lens at 1kg. I am looking forward to the Gen2 of this extraordinary lens.
