Dr. G Posted February 20 Share #1 Posted February 20 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently picked up the Nikon zf for use with the Voigtlander 50 f1 and 40 1.2. I was originally using it with Nikon's manual focus confirmation aids, but then found that I liked using magnified view - in which case I could just adapt the M versions to my SL3. Has anyone used these lenses on the SL3 and how did you find focusing with magnifaction working with wide open apertures? For some reason I still feel that EVF in my SL2-S looked clearer zooming in to focus than the SL3 does.
Advertisement Posted February 20 Posted February 20 Hi Dr. G, Take a look here Voigtlander 50 f/1 and 40 1.2 on the SL3?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
keeping_a_balance Posted February 20 Share #2 Posted February 20 I have had a lot of fun with these two lenses on the sl3. I agree on the EVF clarity I tend to remember it was cleaner when zoomed in on the SL2S. Anyway both lenses have beautiful rendering and have shot mostly wide open, however never done close up portraits but I find focusing has been ok. I keep focus peaking off fwiw.
