Another colourful one from the Joan Miró (1893–1983) exhibition. Here he used a lid from a  wheat barrel for the head.

The semi-circular notation of Mondholz at the shop of Tonewood in Bergün/Latsch, that is used all over the world by top instrument builders (luthiers), here with drawings of a cello and violin on them. AAA is the highest quality. Mondholz is cut only at full moon on a clear night. Then the tree is lightest (no resin), and the wood is extremely light and damps sound effectively. It must be something already known in the time of the Celts, can you imagine them planning the felling of the trees from their moon abacus? Well, we all know they cut mistletoe a few days after full moon nights with a silver or golden sicle .  . Anyway, it is really a treasure I see here.
