Advertisement Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hi discoman5, Take a look here Leica Q3 43 - case with built in grip or small rig mount plate. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Sandokan Posted January 31 Share #2 Posted January 31 Stop worrying about keeping it looking like new I have a leather case with grip and a base for Arca Swiss compatability (not that I have ever put an M on a tripod). The grip on the RRS Arca plate is the most comfortable for my hand, but there wasnt one (and I dont know if there is one yet). My advice is, try them all in the shops (which obviously rules out the eBay ones).
PhotoCruiser Posted January 31 Share #3 Posted January 31 (edited) My Q2 from 2019 look still new even if i hauled her around the world. She lives in a cheap innocent looking camera bag, a small one only for the Q2 and a slightly bigger one for the Q2, Metz strobe and Elpro 52 macro lens. I have the original Leica Grip, thumb rest and the finger loop what makes it virtually impossible to drop the camera. As long you don't drop the camera she will last nice and shiny for a long time. Chris If you want a case then i suggest to take it off every now and then, dirt between camera and the case is probably worst than no case.
