dritz Posted January 27 Share #1 Posted January 27 Advertisement (gone after registration) I purchased a used B2 travel kit for $500, and then had to pony up another $400 for a new Profoto Air Connect Pro-L (for Leica). This controller supports HSS and TTL on the SL system (I use an SL2). I am pleased to report that it seems to support these same functions on the S3. Pretty happy that this is the case. I thought I would share this experience with the Profoto system, now to learn how to use it effectively (reliably and predictably). Funny, but I will have spent another $1000 for two softboxes, rings, a beauty dish and the Air Connect just to make use of that $500 deal! Advertisement Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hi dritz, Take a look here Profoto Air Connect Pro and the S3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Slender Posted January 30 Share #2 Posted January 30 Thanks for sharing this! I wonder if same with S007
David Weber Posted January 31 Share #3 Posted January 31 Has someone here ever tried if this Adapter works with older analoge Leica Models (M6TTL, M7, R8, R9)? Form what I have read, some newer flashes like SF40 or SF60 seam to support the M7, too. So technically it might be possible.
Tirpitz666 Posted January 31 Share #4 Posted January 31 I've just tried the Godox X Pro II trigger with the AD100Pro stobe and unfortunately it doesn't work properly in TTL, only in M and Multi mode. Admittedly, no S model is listed among the compatible cameras, but I really hoped that Leica "modern" flash communication standard would have been the very same as the SLs, but alas it looks not to be the case.. Tirpitz666 Posted February 1 Share #5 Posted February 1 Actually the S should be fully compatible according to the Godox website, so it's likely a bug not sorted out.

I purchased the Profoto Air Connect Pro-L (for Leica) and a Profoto A10. With the SL TTL and HSS work perfectly. With the S3, neither works. The flash fires when set to TTL but does not expose correctly. Manual mode, however, works. When I have an exposure time shorter than 1/125 sec, the Air Connect (automatically) shows that HSS is activated, but the flash does not fire (neither in TTL or manual). When I have use a CS lens, the same happens when the exposure time is shorter than 1/1000 sec. I don't think that the fact that you used a B2 and I an A10 makes a difference but I can be wrong. Thanks. Georg
