This guy is my most used photo model. He doesn't always cooperate but here he was ok. I got a Voigtlander Nokton 75/1.5 a couple of weeks ago and I often use it wide open and the depth of field is of course very shallow but I nail it sometimes. M11P and a crop to 60-70% of the original. The lens is a pleasant surprise, good performance and light.

I agree. Voigtlander has been releasing some very fine lenses, especially the past few years.

True. I recently got the Nokton 50/1.5 ver 2 also and it is almost as good as my Summilux 50/1.4 ASPH, but lighter and cheaper. I will keep the Summilux but if I started buying lenses for the M I might skip it, but it is nice to have one of the famous Leica lenses. Here is one shot with the Voigtlander, wide open and my M11M.

The new Voigtlander release that's really getting raves is the tiny 50mm f3.5 APO.  I'm going to get my order in before Trump puts a tariff on imports from Japan.

I have missed that one! I looked at the f2 APO but I wanted something light as I have the Summilux. I looked at the reviews for the 3.5 and it looks tempting.  But I have bought a lot this winter so I will wait! I looked at your website and it is impressing! Nice work.
