To my recent trip I took a new lens, Samyang 35-150mm with SL2 S and did lots of portraits which is unusual for me. New style, new skills.

Hope you will like it 😀

Some great shots! It's a familiar region to me - I worked there for long and short periods, but didn't take the opportunities for people photography as you have.

How lucky you are! It’s a fantastic place where you can find everything.

Lived there in late 90s and it has changed so much. It is so modern now and has lost lots of it character. I even got a hardship allowance for living there.
The old port at Diera offered so many views. And getting from plane landing to my apartment took 15 minutes.

The light can make it so harsh but you have handled it well.

A super set.  Although your subjects have changed, your eye is as spot-on as I've come to expect of you.

Thank you for your comment.

As you probably already know, I’m often posting in b&w topic and it was good experience to do photography in colours.

Of course I did series of UAE in monochrome 😀

It’s such a futuristic and old place same time. Dubai has everything and anything for you 😀 I was impressed by the service and how polite people are, way of security is very high. Once I left my camera on a chair at the cafe and it was giving back to me, not stolen like it could be on our reality 🙃

Definitely will come back in couple of years for winter sun.
