sn228 Posted January 3 Share #43 Posted January 3 I‘ve listed mine for sale in German ebay, just serviced by Leica in November and has Warranty till 12.2026 and the shutter count is just 942. Reason for sale: am using my M10 more. https://www.ebay.de/itm/286246106481?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=707-127634-2357-0&ssspo=czo6zv_zs8s&sssrc=2051273&ssuid=czo6zv_zs8s&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY If you are interested, send me a PM. setuporg Posted January 3 Share #44 Posted January 3 Well I prefer the original, pioneering screenless, lugless M, Edition 60. It is what enticed be back to Leica, using it continuously since 2018 with its Steelilux, usually with its ventilated shade. Had custom Luigi cases, full and half, made for it, got a cool wrist strap, no problem without the lugs, in fact so smooth in hand. The solid shutter sound that the steel chamber makes is something else.

The whole idea of the wrist strap is a naked camera. And without lugs it's stunning, ready to be cradled in your hand.

Datsch Posted January 5 Share #53 Posted January 5 (edited) To answer the OP @m-d262 here is a chart I just made of M-D sale prices as seen in adverts over the years, converted to USD at the rate at the time. Worth noting that these are only the adverts where I could read the serial numbers for my ongoing log of those There were other adverts in these years that I did not record the values of, plus many more I never saw at all, so this is only a partial picture of values over time. Wow, this is very informative. Thanks! Are all of these final sales prices or are some asking prices? Quite the range.
Datsch Posted January 5 Share #55 Posted January 5 (edited) As I said, these are all advert prices. What the seller and buyer eventually settled on is of course not available to us but I imagine the asking price was often achieved. I base that assertion on the fact that M-D’s tend to sell within a few days of being posted. Edited January 5 by Datsch

I base that assertion on the fact that M-D’s tend to sell within a few days of being posted. To quote your original message, "sale prices as seen in adverts", the phrase "sale prices" here could be seen as, well, SALE prices, so the clarification is appreciated. Certain outlets do show completed prices, and occasionally parties are willing to discuss prices, as evident on this forum and others (I have seen prices discussed here, on FM, and reddit). While this data is very valuable, I feel it is important to understand these are asking prices and personally feel it may be a stretch to assume asking price is often being achieved. For the lower, and frankly more reasonable prices, sure, but those upper outliers seem high. As evident by the current 7k+ eBay listing that has been up for almost 2 months now with multiple prices revisions. Without actually plugging those numbers in, it seems like the average closer to 5k, which feels reasonable.

According to info connected to their avatar the OP is online at this very moment... I'm not sure whether it adds much but if Datsch wishes to add another camera mine was bought NOS / Ex-Demo (with all paraphernalia) from the London dealership as mentioned on the 18th December 2019 for £3,490 which, at today's exchange rate, works out to be $4,360. To correct an error I made earlier in the thread the camera had 140 actuations to its name and not 114 as I had written (it was my S-Chr M Monochrom which had 114 clicks). Philip. EDIT : Serial Number is 4982421 Edited January 6 by pippy
