ysun60 Posted December 23, 2024 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm using an iOS system, and it seems that as long as a photo is in JPG format and added to the Leica album in the iOS Photos app, Leica Fotos will include it in the gallery, allowing you to apply Leica Looks to it. Does Leica want everyone to use Leica Looks, or is this just a bug?

andybarton Posted December 23, 2024 Share #2 Posted December 23, 2024 No. The App just uses any jpg.
jaapv Posted December 23, 2024 Share #3 Posted December 23, 2024 Jpg is jpg. There is nothing Leica about it and “Leica Looks” are nothing but jpg presets, dreamt up by somebody in Leica’s employ.
SnapshotGR Posted December 23, 2024 Share #4 Posted December 23, 2024 It applies the look to any image that hasn’t had a look already applied in camera.

I’m not here to argue about what the 'Leica Looks' are; I’m simply pointing out that the filter feature on the Leica Fotos app, named 'Leica Looks,' can now be applied to any JPG photos. It's no longer exclusive.
