Good day looking for a Fanny Sling for my M240 with a Light lens lab Lens 35mm F2 Silver Chrome Eight Element  Leica Summicron M M10 attached and extra battery. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Where - geographically - are you based?

As posted elsewhere I bought one of these - here in the UK - just the other day for the same sort of carry in terms of 'kit'. I'm not sure it could accurately be classified as a "F*nny Sling"; it was described as being a 'Cross-Body Bag with Adjustable Strap' but could probably be fastened around the waist if a shorter strap were used;

By some peculiarity of chance at this very moment its contents are an M-D Typ-262 (same size as M240) with a LLL 35mm f2.0 '8 Element' attached...

I used an Eddie Bauer light-weight fanny pack for my M240/35FLE for one day, after which I decided the belt clip to be too flimsy , and no safety fallback should it disengage.

Instead I use a light weight nylon crossbody bag which feels more secure and is far easier to access the camera on my chest.

Moment has a 4L coming out soon, peak design is another good sling…. I currently own the moment 2L - which is great for my EDC including my D lux 8. For M 240 and couple of lenses I use the Peak. I’ll get the 4L once it comes out

Welcome to the forum. 🙂 “F*nny” is a quite impolite word, to many, if not most readers of this very international forum. Here in the USA, I have not yet seen the words “f*nny” and “sling” used together, so, are you looking for a true sling bag, to wear diagonally, cross-body, or, something to wear around the hips, as a waist pack? In my experience, something designed to be worn around the waist/hips is not going to be comfortable when worn with the strap over one shoulder, slung diagonally, cross-body.

The Think Tank Mirrorless Mover series is my idea of a very well-made but compact bag, for holding a camera, with lens affixed, and very little else. Mine is the Mirrorless Mover 20, but, for a Leica M camera, the Mirrorless Mover 10 may well be large enough. There is a tunnel loop across the back of the bag, for wearing it on a belt, and a strap is included, for using it as a shoulder bag. The 20 has plenty of room for an M camera to lie on its back, with the lens facing upward, or, to set upon its base, with the lens in place. For waist carry, I would rather select my own belt, which the tunnel loop allows me to do.

The Think Tank Press Pass 10 is more suitable than the Mirrorless Mover, if one wants the bag, itself, to be diagonally oriented, when the strap is worn over one shoulder. I have the Press Pass 10, which does have just enough size to allow an M camera to lie on its back, or, to be placed on its base, if the lens is reasonably compact, with a hood that is also compact.

Take a look at the Peak Design 3L bag. I think it’ll do everything you need. It’s a cross body which can also be worn as a ‘fanny pack’ or ‘Bum Bag’ as we say here in the UK 🙂

It’ll take 2 x M cameras fitted with a lens each, or a single M with a bunch of other stuff. Has a really useful phone pocket on the front too and pretty weather resistant. I like it because it’s also super low-profile making it ideal for street photography if you don’t want to stand out.

So I went with this pack. Just right for my needs and reasonably priced.
