Viv Posted July 24 Share #81 Posted July 24 Advertisement (gone after registration) I do not consider the Leica M9 a good investment. Nor any other digital camera. Gold ingots (not coins) are a solid and reasonably safe investment, showing a good return in recent years.

Well I can somehow get it to work for me. Not for you though. No problem. Edited July 24 by Ray Vonn
Steadimann Posted September 6 Author Share #83 Posted September 6 I shot yesterday with M9 during an event, it's completely usable with 1600 iso. Would not go further for sure, but 1600 is fine.
jaapv Posted September 6 Share #84 Posted September 6 With present-day noise reduction in post-processing it is quite possible to shoot an M9 up to ISO 6400 without problem, unlike ten years ago.
pedaes Posted October 16 Share #85 Posted October 16 Are M9 prices on the 'up'? In the forthcoming Tamarkin Auction they have a black M9 with 'non-corroding' sensor described as Mint with all the boxes with an estimate of $8000 to $10,000. Interesting to see the results.
