....but it did. Yesterday my city experienced a school shooting. A 15-year-old girl brought a 9mm handgun into her school and opened fire. She killed a teacher, one other student and wounded six others before turning the gun on herself. Two of the injured are still in critical condition.

Tonight there was a candlelight vigil, held as a first step toward healing (if that's even possible) for those personally affected.

I agree that these are wonderful photos, but it is too bad that you were able to take them.  Not sure if or when this country will ever come to its senses.  I won't start any political/social discussion, so I will just admire your talent at taking these photos.  Your choice of black and white is very appropriate.
