I never heard  of existence of VF other than 0.72 M-A.

To be more realistic, I'd have a look in the available 0.72 M-A.

For me, best VF of all Ms I use and for larger than 28mm lens, I put on aux VF or the ugly 15-35 zoom finder...,

in most case without aux VF appreciating the nice M-A's VF... or use 28mm and up.

Sorry no 0.58 VF unless some wizard can do it.

Non existence. Only way to do it is with an MP viewfinder and you’ll have that broken frame line on the bottom where light meter signals go. It’s doable if requested when sending your camera to Leica, but doesn’t come factory installed.

As a user who considers the 35mm focal length as my "normal" lens choice and wouldn't, do not, shoot with anything over 50mm with a M I really do favour the .58 viewfinders and wish that they were still available with a new camera from the factory albeit on special order, ( couldn't you do that once upon a time? ). I do have a M7 and a M6TTL both with .58 viewfinders and I have never felt that the light meter lights are ever an intrusion.

They use to do it via a la cart program, but you can also buy a new camera and send it in for an “upgrade” or perhaps send Leica HQ an email to see if they’re open to do a special order.

Sure, back in the day I used that programme a couple of times, but even if Leica would do that now it would add at a guess a good 1.5K to the cost of a new Leica as basically they want you to buy a .72 body first, then they'd switch it out for a .58 viewfinder keep the removed .72 bits for their spares bin and take up to six months, maybe more, to do the job. Hardly worth it now.
