SL3, SL2 & SL2-S: Firmware updates significantly expand the range of functions

Recommended Posts

I found on the SL3 if you go to User Profile and select a saved profile, it brings me to the video settings. I thought it wanted me to saved video settings separately, but this keeps happening. I'm pretty sure when you save a profile it saves photo settings AND video settings for that profile. Can anyone confirm this?

Updated. Reloaded my user profile. I noticed that once selected, it no longer shows a check mark showing that profile is active.

Resave the profile. The 'old' profile settings no longer quite match the new firmware as coded - resaving it makes them match up again. The numbering should then be visible.

Paul. Thank you so much! That worked perfectly. I may have imported a saved profile file and that is when I had this issue. I just needed to delete my profile on the camera and then create a new profile using the latest firmware. But how did you know this???? Or how did I not....?
