SL3 - Shutter lag with Profoto Connect Pro

I have noticed a percievable shutter lag when using the SL3 with the Profoto Connect Pro and a Profoto B2 light. I am referring to an addition delay when comparing the time for shutter actuation when using and not using the flash trigger. Changing the flash sync setting in camera from start to end does not make any differences. I tested using shutter speeds between 1/160 up to 1/200 (max sync) and beyond using Hi-speed sync also does not make any differences. Can anyone else confirm this?

It is the TTL pre-flash

That is why I use a trigger in the studio that is not for Leica or turn on the Legacy setting.

TTL is evil. One pin trigger is not. 😉

Not Profoto, but Godox nano for Leica on the SL3.  Same thing, in TTL mode it has a delay sometimes and other times the shutter won't release at all.  Legacy mode never fails with it, though.

Here's the thread about Profoto. May not be directly related: using the Q3 and HSS - but perhaps indicative of Leica and Profoto not being quite on the same wavelength.
