fotografr Posted November 22, 2024 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was driving to the airport a couple of days ago as a strong storm was moving in. There was a momentary break in the clouds behind me which allowed a streak of sunlight to strike the old Oscar Mayer factory where hot dogs used to be made. I grabbed my camera and shot two frames while driving, which I don't recommend doing. Several years ago Oscar Mayer moved their operation to another facility where they could pay lower wages, so the buildings were bought by the city and are now used for other concerns. Nice to hear that the building is not just going to lie vacant and decay. Too many of those already in our cities. True. I loved hot dogs as a kid. Then I found out what goes into them and that was the end for me.
