Q3 continuous drive 15fps / is it mechanical shutter?

Hello guys. I'm considering buying the Q3 but I have this doubt that, after looking everywhere, I still couldn't figure out.

When you set the camera to 15fps continuous drive, is it still using the mechanical shutter or that speed is only possible with the electronic one? I'm asking because sometimes I need to shoot at that speed, but dont want the rolling shutter effect of the electronic shutter.

I can't answer for the Q3, but on my Q3 43 it is electronic at 15fps. I think the change is between 5fps and 7fps, but I don't have it to hand to check. I wanted to know for the same reason as you.

I was using 15fps today. i didn't hear the camera make a shutter sound. I knew something must be wrong, and when I got home I noticed the jelly effect was bad (indoor lighting is also at risk of banding effect). From now on I will stick to a maximum of 9fps.

I have just checked my Q3 43. It uses the mechanical shutter to 9fps, but 15fps is electronic.
According to the menu settings, 9fps is 12 bit and has no AFc, while 7fps is 14 bit and no AFc. 5fps is 14 bit with AFc.
