Leica Q3 43 delivered with dust in viewfinder

My third Leica Q arrived yesterday. Unfortunately it looks like this like this on arrival 🫤 It sounded like I have to wait for a repair when I notified the seller today. Is it a lot to expect to get a new camera instead of a repair?

Has anyone else had a camera delivered with dust in the viewfinder? 

If so, did you get the camera replaced with a new one or did you have to wait for a repair?

I had a Q2 that arrived with a spec of dust in the viewfinder. No way would I send a new camera out for repair. Makes no sense.

When I bought my SL2-S in 2021 it arrived with dust in the viewfinder. I had a pretty strong reaction and arranged a return with the dealer (in a different country so a bit of a hassle). While in the middle of sorting that out the piece of dust disappeared (I guess just using and moving the camera dislodged it). I cancelled the return and I haven't seen any dust since.

To be clear...is it a Leica Q as stated...or Q3.

If it is an original Q...meaning it is at least 5 years old and preowned...having it repaired my be the only option...the dealer may not have another Q in stock.

Where did you purchase it from?

Normally you have the right to refuse faulty goods and demand replacement.

Sorry for my late update. 

I didn't have to send it in for a repair. They gave me a new camera.

My Q3 has about the same speck in the viewfinder, didn‘t bother to get it fixed, because I didn’t want to wait for a replacement

Way too pricey to just let it be, but thats just me.
