Best value for money monitor 27-4K?

Hello good morning!

I am in need of a new monitor

I think 27 would be the ideal dimension, I assume 4 K too?

I do a lot of black and white from M240 and M8, but I also have many negatives from the past (35mm 6x6, 4x5) and present,  i am in the process of scanning them.

I also don't have much money to invest, so what would be the monitor with the best quality-price ratio that you know of ?

Personally I prefer two 24" monitors, one for the image and one for the PS (or other editing programme) panels. The second does not need to be the quality and price of the main one.

You don't need 4k (my advice would be to get a better monitor vs a 4k one). You also don't say what your budget is. Or if you intend on printing at home, which will make your choice even narrower.

jaapv, I agree with you, I use 2 monitors now, but I want to upgrade one.

Charles, I don’t plan to print at home.

my budget is no more than $400

I got the point about not 4K.

i remember how good was an old iMac monitor I had

My  (simple) second monitor is 4K as I can check whether the sharpness I chose on my main monitor is not too harsh for those viewing the image on a 4K monitor.
